Remarks and Recommendations:
Met on site with Paul (NCDOT), William (Div 10 DEO), Dave (DWR), Ben (Reeves), and Nick (Reeves) for
compliance inspection in reference to ICA issued on 4/18/23.
-Causeway has been relocated to Anson County side of Rocky River to complete bridge demo.
-Turbidity curtain has been installed around causeway and exposed banks on both sides of Rocky River.
-Access to causeway on Anson County side of Rocky River has been stabilized with stone.
-Bypass pipe has been installed for JS under bridge on Anson County side during bridge demo.
-Met on site this morning to discuss bank stabilization to start on Stanly County side of Rocky River. Crews to
start grading and stabilize bank with rip -rap. Once bank stabilized flood plain areas to be permanently seeded
with native seed.
**ICA issued on 4/18/23 has been lifted.
Corrective actions from ICA have been completed.
-Monitor site weekly and after each 1 inch rainfall event.
-Maintain erosion control measures per weekly inspection.
-Maintain turbidity curtains until banks stabilized and bridge demo is complete.
