Jerry and Dave,
Sorry I've been out of the loop this week. Thanks for the notice about the 2 issues you mentioned. Can one or both of
you forward me pictures, both pre- and post-cleanup if you have them? Other than that, please follow up if there is
anything remaining to be done or specifics you would like to discuss.

Dave,
I am in a training class all day on Thursday. So, I won't be able to meet. I will let Nikki know what is going on and maybe
she will be able to meet you. As I stated on the phone message I left you this morning, we also had sediment loss on R-
2413 at Site #5. I've just returned from the site and I instructed them to de-water the site and begin removing the
sediment from the stream. I gave them a list of guidelines to follow while removing the sediment. The contact person
for that project is Paul Hobson at 919 520-2001. Please call me if you have any questions or need more info.

Hi Jerry,
Looks like Thurs is best for me to do site visits. Let me know if you're able meet in that area during the day. I want to
review the buffer modification for Bridge 145 over Candy Creek, the sediment loss at U-2525B and if there is time will try
to swing by U-5538. Thanks.

Dave and Dave,
As you can see from the pictures, we have sediment loss at one of our sites on the U-2525 project. We received a
significant rainfall (1.25 inches or greater) over the week-end and although we could not tell where the devices failed,
obviously something happened. We are still investigating the source of the sediment. Per my conversation with Dave
Wanucha earlier today, I have instructed the contractors to remove the sediment by hand after de-watering the site. I
walked the site and flagged the areas that I felt needed sediment to be removed. Some of the areas that received less
than two inches of sediment were not flagged because I felt work in those areas would be counterproductive and do
more harm than good. Please call me if you have any questions or if you need more information.

Jerry,
We have lost silt off site on the U-2525B Project. Please see the attached pictures. I assume we need to have the
contractor clean this up?
