Hank,
As a follow up to your conversation yesterday, the US Army Corps of Engineers (the Corps) and NC Division of Water
Resources (NC DWR) will require Timbermill Wind, LLC (the applicant) to submit table(s) (like the attached) breaking
down the proposed wetlands, stream and ditch impacts and associated compensatory mitigation requirements per
phase of the project. In addition, the applicant will need to provide general impact maps for each phase of the project
to serve as a key. Please note that impacts and compensatory mitigation will need specify the impact type (i.e.
permanent fill, permanent conversion, and temporary) to assist the Corps and NC DWR with tracking of the
compensatory mitigation requirements for the Individual Permit and Individual Water Quality Certification, respectively.
Following the receipt of the above required information, the Corps will issue an updated Compensatory Mitigation
Responsibility Transfer Form for each Phase of the proposed project.
If you have any question, please feel free to contact with me.
