monthly average Influent was over the permitted allowance of 30,000 gallons. This is due In part to I&I, the source of which has yet to be determined. Another major factor Is that the Flume where the Influent Meter
,or is located is too small for the flow we see at peak flow. The technitian that installed, calibrated, and certified the meter noted this when he installed the meter. When the flow gets higher than the flume the meter
high rather than fail to zero. I have informed the leadership of the Board of Directors that the manhole and flume need total replacement with the proper sized inlet and meter measurement flume so we can have
rate flow numbers. When the flow gets above the flume there is no possibility of having accurate flow numbers and as it currently is I beleive the flow numbers at peak flow are exaggerated especially during rain
is when we see the W. I am hopeful with the pending plans to make upgrades to this outdated treatment facility that this issue will be adressed.
