We received your request to modify the monitoring provisions in the above permit
Certificate of Coverage (COC) on November 4, 2022. You requested to change the
authorized outfall discharges from solely stormwater to wastewater comingled with
stormwater for raw and waste material storage and transport. On January 19, 2023 Thad
Valentine with the Raleigh Regional Office conducted a site visit to inspect the facility and
determine whether or not the modification is recommended. Your request has been
approved, please review the monitoring requirements associated with stormwater and
wastewater discharges in General Permit NCG140000
This permit does not affect the legal requirements to obtain other permits which
may be required by the Division of Energy, Mineral and Land Resources, or permits
required by the Division of Water Resources, Coastal Area Management Act, or any other
federal or local governmental permit that may be required. If you have any questions
