NCDOT would like for NCDWQ to consider all streams labeled as ephemeral within the drawings
for the October 10, 2007 application as intermittent. Therefore stream impacts would now count
at these sites and buffer zones as drawn would remain in place and calculated impacts here would
not change. The only difference in impact totals (as presented in the PCN) would be to add the
stream impacts from Site 1, Site 4, and Site 5 with those pervious reported for Site 3.
Site xisting pipe: 38ft
Proposed pipe: 52ft
SSW fill, plus 20ft rip rap = 34ft
Site 4: Existing pipe: 48 ft
Proposed pipe: 60ft
12ft of SW fill, 20ft np rap = 32ft
Site.4~, Existing pipe: 28ft
Proposed pipe: 52ft
24ft SW fill, plus 2Q~rip rap = 44ft
