Hi Emily,
Apologies for the delayed response, I have been focusing on schoolwork for the last few days.
Yes, DWR authorizes a reduction from $60,000 to $40,000 for the bond number 93324404.
Is there anything else you need bond wise from Katie and I? I believe she authorized a reduction for Tull Wooten earlier
today.
Thanks,
HamiltonRyan

Hi Ryan,
Much like Stone Creek, we will need the bond reduction information referenced in this email chain in order to reduce
the Meadow Spring bond. Would you mind replying back that you agree to this statement: Do you agree that bond
number 9332404 can be reduced from $60,000 to $40,000?
Thank you!

Hi Ryan,
Thank you for your comments.
In response to your question about Vegetation Plot 9:
In general, this plot seems to be shorter than other sites due to the amount of shade that it receives mainly from one
larger tree that was able to be saved during construction as well as in the forested area outside of the easement. Our
vegetation monitoring datasheets are used for both reportable and internal data used for putting together requests for
our maintenance crews; therefore, typically these data comments on the VIVID sheets are reminders for us to later
reference. We sometimes write notes to discuss with the larger group. As you can see in the vegetation monitoring plot
photos, veg plot 9 is dominated by dog fennel; however, underneath are small pine saplings, that look very similar to the
fennel. It looks like we just forgot to put an estimated count but it around 30 small saplings of pine. We plan to keep an
eye on this area as the pines are still small. We have not thinned any pines or sweet gums at this time in that plot.
Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns with our response.
Thanks
Jamey

Hi Jamey,
By copy of this correspondence, DWR approves the monitoring report for Year 4 of the Meadow Springs Site. Please
note the following comments:
- Vegetation plot 9 has faced continued height issues throughout the project. Is this monitoring plot
representative of the area surrounding it? Also, in the notes section of the VIVID for plot 9 there is a
comment stating "pine and sweetgums need thinned" but the vegetation assessment data says there
are only 5 sweetgums and no pines in the plot. Was there thinning of pines and sweetgums between
the VIVID data collection and vegetation assessment data? Please explain.
Once DWR receive a response to the above comments, we can proceed issuing the credit release for this task.
DWR authorizes a 20% reduction in the current bond amount.
Thank you for your patience,
Ryan a ilto
