W wr Id to bliv that thr would b no prmittd impacts at th bridg location but that turnd out to not b
th cas. You can considr this a scond prmittd sit on th projct so th impacts will b 97° of bank stabilization
and 75° of dvvatring (vvork pad) at th bridg location. oth impacts ar in addition to th prviously prmittd pip
addition.

Ar you rqusting an additional 97 ft of prmannt riprap impacts orjust an additional 87° bringing th total to
97°? Th original application has 10° of riprap listd. Eithr way, this would bring th total prm impacts to 209
ft. Th 75' of tmp impacts is clar.

Tasha/Dave,
Looks like we need a permit modification on this project. We anticipated no impacts at the new bridge location coming
off of US 321 but after staking out the bridge, that appears to not be the case now. Due to the stream eroding/moving
or due to some sort of surveying error by the consulting firm, the stream bank is too steep to prevent the riprap
abutment protection from entering the edge of the water. Total distance of bank stabilization will now be 97 linear
feet. Additionally, in order to shore up the bank for the drill rig and protect the stream from the drill spoils, we will need
a work pad on the east side of the creek. This temporary impact will be 75 linear feet or 0.0086 acres (see attached
drawing).
Complicating matters is the fact that the drill rig will be moved to the site next week and it will jam up the drillers work
schedule if we can't get the modification back very quickly. Anything you can do to expedite the request would be
appreciated.
