Provide a vicinity map (i.e. street map) clearly showing the location of the property with respect to local landmarks such as towns, rivers, and roads. Describe the existing land use or condition of the site at the time of this application: * Residential. The boardwalk starts at the pool house and extends the lenght od Harborside Dr along Lake Norman. The existing rip - rap has fallen into the lake due to erosion, some areas did not have rip -rap and new rip -rap will be used in those areas to prevent erosion. Residential, undeveloped, etc. 6. Describe proposed work (include discussion as to how hardening of shoreline has been avoided, or why it is necessary): The refurbishing using rip -rap is necessary to maintain the integrity of shoreline. The repair behind the existing boardwalk will not be for the entire 600 linear feet, but will be only to repair those areas that need to be repaired. 8. Please describe the vegetation above the normal pool lake level/ normal water level and 50 feet landward to be impacted: * (number of trees, for instance) Currently various vegation behind the boardwalk consist of a grass lawn, junipers, roses and native grasses.
