Subject: Meeting to discuss potential whitewater project along the French Broad
Good afternoon everyone.
I wanted to invite everyone to a meeting with the city on April 30 from 3 -5 at the public works facility room A109. Staff
is currently investigation a potential white water park within the French Broad. I have attached a conceptual design
performed by a private consultant about this project.
Our goal is to discuss the permitting requirements and time frame of those requirements. We would also like to discuss
what challenges may be present with this process.
I have a call into the folks at TVA to ask them to join us for the meeting.
