Thanks for reading my comments and you help in the process.
I am writhing to support the removal of the Dillsboro Dam and
the removal of all the Silt and Debris up stream of the Dom in the
Dillsboro Lake.
As a Fisherman and Boater on the Tuckaseegee River for 30+ years
and a local Businessman for 30+ years. I fully support the US Fish 8~
Wildlife Service and the numerous other Government Agencies that
have called for the Removal and Dredging of the Dillsboro Dam.
The positive impact of this action will out way any small amount of
power that could be produced. Tourism in the area will not suffer.
Fishing and Boating will improve and a healthy free flowing river will
be a positive asset to Jackson County and Western North Carolina.
Please do what you can to support the timely removal of the
Dillsboro Dam and the Creation of a Healthy Free Flowing River.
