NCDOT is authorized to replace the existing 53 ft by 26 ft Bridge # 16 over an unnamed tributary to Pamlico Sound with a 70 ft by 33 ft bridge and to replace associated utilities. The project is located on US Highway 264 approximately 8.3 miles south of the intersection of US 264 and US 64 north of Stumpy Point, Dare County, North Carolina. The project will impact 0.055 acres of jurisdictional wetlands, 0.001 acres of which were designated Coastal Wetlands by NCDCM. All terms and conditions for NWP #3 and 12 apply. The following Special Condition applies: All utilities must be installed a minimum of 30 feet below the canal bottom, as shown on the project plans. Action ID SAW-2014-02112 Tracey L.
