Richland Creek upstream of discharge (current sampling location is fine) 2.) Deep River at SR1113 3.) Deep River at SR1129 above Freemans Mill 4.) Deep River at SR1921 below Coltranes Mill Because there are high nutrient and low DO concentrations throughout the river, an upstream station on the Deep River is required to evaluate the effects of High Point's discharge. If two downstream stations are not feasible (though it shouldn't be a problem for a 16 MGD facility), the station at SR1921 should receive priority over SR1129 since there is a USGS gage immediately downstream. Also note that High Point's DMR data lists the current downstream station as SR1129 above Coltranes Mill. This is incorrect. The mill dam below their station is Freemans Mill. Extra emphasis should be placed on clearly identifying these stations for the facility. Richland Creek upstream of the discharge should also be monitored to separate the influence of urban runoff from instream data.
