Hello Teresa,
By interlocal agreement with tthe City of High Point, the Piedmont Triad Water & Sewer Authority is
seeking a loan from our office to build the effluent outfall from the current discharge point to a point below
the "narrowing in the future Lake Randalman." This point has been previously agreed to by the Water
Quality Section.
The 201 Facilities Plan has been submitted and the FNSI could go to clearinghouse in the near future. We
anticipate plans and specifications, which address the proposed effluent outfall, to be submitted to our
office for review in the month of October, 2001. Approval is currently scheduled for the month of March,
2002.
Please advise if I can be of further assistance.

I am doing the renewal for the High Point Eastside NPDES permit. On the
ATC that was aproved last July it says that the capacity will not be
increased until they provide the new outfall. Do you know if they are
going to change the outfall location or what their plans are?
If you have any other relevant information about the facility that I can
take into account for the permit renewal, please let me know.
