We have had a sediment loss at Permit Site 38/1-485 due to our most recent rain event. We had 1.6 inches of rain on
the 27t" of March in/around Permit Site 38. Once the sediment has been recovered, I will forward more pictures
showing our cleanup efforts and will provide a total number of buckets recovered. Please let me know if you have any
concerns or questions about this loss or if you would like to schedule an onsite inspection. Please see the attached
pictures of permit site 38.

We're reporting a silt loss at Permit Site 38 on the 1-485 project. Attached are pictures of operations leading up to and
including site conditions today. As Helen states below silt fence was installed as of last Friday, prior to our rain
events. She's going back to get some pictures of the silt fence area as Thomas requested, which Helen will reply with to
this message. Also, as soon as we get bucket counts for the clean up we will report that as well.

Here is what I'm aware of:

Another Blythe crew graded over PS#38 last week ( inspector was onsite). On March 22nd, please see attached pictures,
wattles were installed. GML was supposed to seed Thursday, but sent a text that morning they were not coming until
early this week.
By Friday silt fence had also been installed.

Helen/Buddy,
What did the silt fence look like above the wattles? Do you have any pictures of where the actual silt fence breached or
was undermined/overtopped? Do we have 57 stone on the hardware cloth outlets? Or were we using wattles until 57
stone could be installed? I cannot get out on site till tomorrow sometime. If we are saying we lost more than 5 gallons in
the JS then we need to go ahead and notify Joel.

Why do we have wattles behind the silt fence? Have we identified where the silt is coming through as there appears to
be a trail in line with the pipe not at the hardware cloth outlet.
