Dear Valued Partner,
We are extremely pleased to inform you that, on 28 February 2023, we closed on the acquisition of the
Textile Effects business from Huntsman Corporation, which was first announced in August 2022.
The acquisition comprises the global business of Huntsman Textile Effects with its approximately
2,300 associates in 33 countries and 10 production sites globally. Archroma now brings together more
than 5,000 employees in total, in 42 countries and 35 production sites.
Our combined expertise and product portfolios are highly complementary, offering you the high
performance that you, your partners and the end -users expect, whilst respecting natural resources
and the planet.
In addition to the closing of the Textile Effects acquisition, Archroma announced that it has
restructured the overall business into two operating divisions, each focused on a separate end
market.
The Textile Effects business acquired from Huntsman will be integrated with the Brand & Performance
Textile Specialties business of Archroma into one new division named Archroma Textile Effects. The
new division will be led by Rohit Aggarwal, former President of Huntsman Textile Effects, who is
appointed as Divisional President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Archroma Textile Effects, and
President Asia.
The Packaging & Paper Specialties and Coatings, Adhesives & Sealants businesses of Archroma have
been recently combined into one new division named Archroma Paper, Packaging & Coatings, under
the leadership of Sameer Singla, Divisional President & CEO of Archroma Paper, Packaging &
Coatings, and President Americas and Europe, Middle East &Africa.
This new structure will ensure that both divisions obtain the resources and focus needed to continue
providing Archroma's customers and business partners with the superior experience and solutions
you expect.
In particular, Archroma is committed to supporting global megatrends and societal shifts such as
circular fashion, plastic -to -paper replacement, and water -based paints and coatings, with the
innovations and solutions needed to do so.

We will start integrating the two organizations in a phased approach, aiming to offer the best of both
companies with a strong emphasis on enhancing our portfolio, innovation capabilities, commitment
to sustainability and service levels. We will need some time before we implement the first changes,
and we will of course inform you well in advance of any that may affect you, in order to give you
enough time to adjust.
Until then, the two textile businesses will continue to operate in parallel, and your usual
representatives remain unchanged.
If you have business with Huntsman Textile Effects, please note the following:
• Emails will change from [e-mail] to
[e-mail]. All emails sent to the @huntsman address will only be
forwarded for a couple of weeks. We therefore request that you immediately begin using the
new email addresses, which are already active and in use.
• The carve -out of the acquired business will require a cutover during the next few days, which
has been organized with utmost planning and preparation to allow a smooth transition.
• From now on, you may start placing your orders to the new legal entity with the updated
bank details provided in Annex 1, if applicable in your area. For legal entities not mentioned
in the annex, there will be no changes upon closing.
Our primary goal is to ensure that you keep the same level of service as usual. We will therefore
contact you shortly to review with you how the transition is going.

you may have.
