- Previous Years:
o MY3: Height issues in plot 9 due to shading, replants, competition from volunteers
- Small bare patch —.10 acres along the right bank of S6-A observed in February 2022 was supplementally planted
with black willow and silky dogwood in March 2022
- All plots are on track with an average of 769 stems per acre and an average height of 6.7ft
- Loblolly pines were noted in small but dense patches along the eastern portion of the site. No evidence of out
competing but will be monitored.
- Continued treatment of Chinese privet.
- Plot 2 has 151 sweetgum volunteers, and 51 loblolly pin volunteers total of 230 stems.
o Plot vigor is fine, but 6/13 stems are under 4ft.
- Plot 9 still is having height issues. 13/19 are under 4ft.
o Lower vigor
o Average height is 78cm or 2.56 feet
o Notes on vigor sheet say Pines and sweet gums need to be thinned but veg. assessment data has 5
sweetgums and no pines
