Jordan Lake WTP's monitoring violations for 2"d quarter samples (April -June 2022) were due to failure to sample. Jordan Lake WTP staff didn't receive the sample kits for 2nd Quarter samples and samples were not sent to the lab for testing. During the same period our bi-weekly samples were not missed. Our lab also missed notification of required samples due to switching to new lab end of June 2022. Jordan Lake WTP (Chatham County) respectfully asks that any civil penalty be remitted due to our history of operating within our permit and no NOV's in the past 10 years. Chatham County's mission and goal is to stay in compliance properly and successfully with the rules and regulations set forth by NCDEQ. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Daniel J.
