Inspection Summary:
Site inspection was conducted on March 22, 2023 by Kevin Mitchell with the Asheville Regional Office. Ross Straup,
Jon Osipovitch, and Jesse Martinez were present during the inspection. The following are items that need attention:
- Station L 867+00 LT (Site 9 Inlet)- SDO (Silt Fence outlet) needs to be repaired above 54" inlet. Mat slopes above JS.
- Station L 867+00 RT (Site 9 Outlet) - Repair silt fence around JS. Small amount of sediment from slope has entered JS
and needs to be removed. Slopes above JS should be matted. Sediment at outlet was removed and photo documentation
was received on 3.22.23.
- Station L 797+50 LT (Site 4) - Remove coir fiber logs from JS.
Y6 (Site 18) - Junction box above JS. Soil needs to be stabilized to prevent loss of material into JS. This was repaired
with photo documentation received on 3.22.23.
Continue to add ground cover per NPDES stabilzation timeframes.
