Dear Sir or Madam:
The purpose of this correspondence is to inform you of the actions taken for the subject
violation. The WWTF was in compliance weekly for fecal coliform, however the monthly
average was 237 with a 200 limit. Corrective actions have been taken to ensure this does
not happen in the future. This incident was the result of contractor error while building the
new WWTF on site of the existing plant. The existing facility has now been removed and
the new dechlorination system put in service. Proper measures have been put into place
with staff to ensure that this permit limit is met in the future.
