Colonial Pipeline Company Huntersville Spill Site — History ' ■ • August 14, 2020 — Notification was made to local & state response agencies and Colonial Pipeline Company o Local first responders and Colonial Pipeline employees responded to a leak in one of its underground lines. o The pipeline was immediately shut down to conduct repair work. • August 19, 2020 — Repair to the pipeline had been completed. • Cleanup efforts and remediation have been ongoing, with oversight by the NC DEQ Division of Waste Management.
