coal ash dump lee county
i am a life long resident of Colon, NC in lee county. I am requesting that a public hearing be held to protect our way of
life. i am concerned about the health effect of have toxic coal ash dumped in my front yard. I have enjoyed the fishing
wildlife and fresh air in this community that is at risk with this dumping plan. Increased traffic and air and water
pollution will lead to more accidents, health probblems and air pollution.
My great grand parents are buried on land ajacent to the clay holes sited for dumping in two different locations. My
quality of life will be forever effected and should be considered in the people unfriendly plan.
