Subject: Coal Ash Resolution
Dear Karen,
Duke should be required to dispose of the coal ash, not by what is most convenient, but what is most
responsible to us as a local community, county, region and state as a whole.
We could throw away our bottles and plastics, but we choose not to. We have an obligation to not cause
others harm and to remember that we do not own the air, water, soil. We are merely stewards of the
environment.
