This permit is issued pursuant to the requirements of North Carolina General Statute 143-215.1 and the Memorandum of Agreement between North Carolina and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency dated October 15, 2007 (or as subsequently amended). This final permit includes one significant change to its terms from those found in the draft permit sent to you on March 27, 2013. No sludge will be treated on any wastewater treatment plant site operated by Aqua N.C., Central'Division. Where practical, sludge removed from a Aqua N.C., Central Division facility will be transported via a contract hauler to another.
