Subj : Regarding change of ownership and permit renewal of Swine animal feeding operations facility
(AWS820670) located at 142 Falling Leaves Ln, Roseboro NC 28382
Dear Mr. Steve J. Nichola,
This letter is to inform you that the property/facility that you purchased at the above address in Roseboro,
NC is a permitted Swine Animal Waste Management System. The permit is issued and administered by
the Division of Water Resources (DWR) of the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality
(NC DEQ).
I would like to draw your attention to the following items:
1. Per General Statute 143-215.10C and 15A NCAC 02T.1304(c), when there is a change in the
ownership of a permitted facility, within 60 days of such change of ownership, DWR needs to be
notified with necessary documents to update records.
2. The facility's permit has expired on Sep 30, 2019, and the renewal application was not submitted.
Per 15A NCAC 02T.0109, an application for renewing the permit must be submitted 18 days
prior to the expiration of the current permit.
3. The permit annual fee invoices for this facility are overdue (Since 2018, @ $180 per year) for a
total of $900.00. Upon providing documentation showing when the ownership has changed, we
can re -calculate the dues.
