SUBJECT: Comments on B-4780 (Bridge No. 22 on SR 1111) FERC Application, Montgomery Coimty
We have received your correspondence dated March 18, 2015 (received March 20, 2015) in which you requested
comments for the above referenced project The NC Division of Water Resources (NCD WR) reeognizes that the
bridge replacement project area lies within the 100 year Flood plain of Lake Tillery, a Federal Energy Regulatory
Commission (FERC) licensed project managed by Duke Energy. A review of our records indicates that a 401 Water
Quality Certification (WQC) was issued on September IQ 2014 (DWR N�20I40806v1) and a moditication on February
1 I, 2015 (DWR #20140806v2). Since the NCDOT will be required to adhere to alI 401 WQC conditions, the project
has been previously reviewed, and no new information to the NCDWR is provided in the review packet, we have no
further comments at this time.
