Lewis informs me that the allocation for such a di scha rye is as fol l ours : now 0.45 €iGO BOD Di s hl ve d Oxygen 30 3.0 u,g/1 mg/1 Fecal Coliform 1000 Total Suspended 30 mg/1 Res i d ue These nuni)ers will appear as final effluent limitations in any discharge permit issued to the Town of Mars Hill at this location and should serve as a basis for the design of the Town's wastewater treatment plant. Attached please find NPDE5 Perrrd t applications which should be s ubA tted along with supporting information in the near future. Construction plans and specifications will not be reviewed in the absence of an issued permit. At least three months should ae allowed for issuance cf an NPDES Permit. In the case of a project of this type, the necessary supporting infor- mation would consist of: (1) A description of the origin and type of waste which is discharged. (2) A description of the proposed treatment works including size and arrangement of major components. (3) A projected evaluation of the effect of the :discharge upon the receiving waters. I will mnti on again that should the Town of scars Hill wish to avail itself of funds from the Clean Dater Bond in July of this year, applications for such funds must be submitted on or before March 1, 1983.
