for the application review fee is also enclosed
This project is to replace the existing private Log and Timber Bridge at Cashie Branch
on East Clubhouse Road, Balsam Mountain Preserve Subdivision, Sylva, North Carolina
The existing bridge is in poor condition and requirements replacement The Bridge
Replacement Plan includes a choice of either Option 1 (concrete bridge) or Option 2
(steel & timber bridge) The bridge abutment walls and wing walls will be precast
concrete segmental block The streambank disturbance required to place the new bridge
abutment walls will be approximately 47 linear feet Cashie Branch has a Water Quality
Classification of "C" and the Stream Index is 2- 79 -39 -4

Perserve Subdivision located near the Town of Sylva, Jackson County, NC This is a private bridge located in a private
residentail subdivision The general land use is residential The stream frontage impact is approximately 47 linear feet
