RE: Chatham Park - Section 6.2 Phase 1 YMCA
Sewer System Extension Permit
Dear Mr. Robinson,
NC Dept of Environmental Quality
FEB 27',..
Raleigh Regional Office
On behalf of Chatham Park Investors LLC, please find the attached documentation in support of a Fast Track
Application (FTA 06-21) for the referenced project. As noted in the application, this project will consist of
230 LF of 8" PVC sewer lines located east of Chatham Park Way and south of Parkland Drive and will
connect to permitted sewer (WQ0042824) and will be tributary to the Village South Pump Station that is
being permitted and constructed under separate cover (WQCS00146). The sewer proposed within this
application will serve a non-residential YMCA of the Triangle Member Facility with Daycare and Swimming
Pool within this development.
The proposed project will meet all the DWR's minimum design criteria for sanitary sewer extensions. The
design flow rate for this project is calculated at 16,900 gpd based on NCAC 2T Rules for wastewater flow
rates as applied in Section VI, Item #7 of the Fast Track Sewer Extension Application. The proposed sanitary
sewer line sizes are more than adequate to convey the design flow rates.
Please find attached the following information in support of the application:
• Fast Track Sewer System Extension Application (FTA 06-21)
• Flow Tracking/Acceptance Form for Sewer Extension Applications (FTSE 10-18)
• USGS Map
• Street Level Map
• 2 CDs containing digital copies of this submittal package
