My mistake, I thought it was in a buffer area. For informational purposes, Chatham has buffers. Yes, we want a written 401 and I am guessing that it should be pretty easy to process. If you could just confirm this as well I'd appreciate it. Thanks. You've indicated that the project is within an area that has state riparian buffer protection rules, but to me it looks like the property drains to the Haw River. Since the Haw River joins New Hope Creek downstream of Jordan Lake, there aren't any state regulated buffers in the area. There may be local gov't protected riparian buffers, but there aren't state regulated buffers. I'm just wanting to confirm the location because it will make a difference regarding how I word the 401 Certification. Thanks for your help.
