Subject: Brunswick County CTP Protocol 5: Draft Transportation Plan Review by Agencies
Good morning,
You are receiving this email because of your involvement as part of the Interagency Coordination
Protocol in reviewing the Brunswick County Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) that began
end of 2020. The study was paused for evaluation by Brunswick County officials, NCDOT, and partner
Transportation Planning Organizations. During the pause (January 2022 – August 2022), the study
was updated to include new data, including additional development, traffic analysis, and local input
from Brunswick County.
We are ready to resume the CTP efforts and pick back up with Interagency Coordination Protocol. In
August of 2021, we had a workshop where you reviewed Brunswick County CTP environmental
maps, volume and capacity maps, and highway recommendations map. In October of 2021, you
were sent TPD feedback to your comments during the workshop and sent updates to the CTP based
on your comments.
We are now in the Draft Transportation Plan Review stage. I would like to request that you kindly
take 4 weeks to review the materials, and provide comments to me by April 4, 2023. The Brunswick
County CTP Document and Appendix is located here. If you need more, feel free to reach out and let
me know.
Finally, if there is staff turnover at your organization since January of 2022, please send me updated
contacts so I may update the CTP Interagency Coordination Protocol roster.
