The Division received your request to rescind the subject Certificate of Coverage (CoC) under General Permit
NCG550000. We do not object to this request.
NPDES CoC NCG550749 is hereby rescinded, effective immediately. This message is to close the permit file for the
Division, and for your records.
If in the future you wish to discharge wastewater to the State's surface waters, you must first apply for and receive a
new NPDES permit.
If you have any questions concerning this matter, simply reply to this message.
PLEASE NOTE: as part of the Division's conversion to paperless communication, this email is the only notification you will
be sent regarding the CoC rescission. No hard copy will be mailed.

Howdy Charles,
Hope you are well. Please see the email below from Ms. Robin Jarvis. I inspected her place today and could not find any
sign of a discharging system. According to records, many years ago, the had a septic system that failed, so, they got the
permit from us, but then, at the advice of the septic installer, just installed several more drain lines, and they haven't
had a problem since. They just kept the permit just in case it failed again but it never has. Mr. Jarvis passed many years
ago and Ms. Jarvis just kept paying the annual fee. This was about 30 years ago, or so.
Please rescind the permit effective immediately and let me know if there are any questions.
