We do not object to this request. NPDES permits NCO072699 and NCO072702 are hereby rescinded, effective immediately. This message is to close the permit files for the Division, and for your records. If in the future you wish to discharge wastewater to the State's surface waters, at either facility, you must first apply for and receive a new NPDES permit. PLEASE NOTE: as part of the Division's conversion to paperless communication, this email is the only notification you will be sent regarding the permit rescission. No hard copy will be mailed. Do not click links or open attachments unless you verify. Send all suspicious email as an attachment to Report Spam. Mr. Weaver, The Town of Beaufort redirected the discharges of both water plants (NC0072699 and NC0072702) directly into the Town's sewer collection system in the later part of 2019. Therefore, there has not been any DMRs reported since that time period. We have not experienced any adverse effects at the wastewater treatment plant since the addition of the water plant discharges. Therefore, we believe there is no need to maintain these permits. What, if any, additional steps need to be taken to relinquish these permits?
