Sophia,
I appreciate the update; I’ll add this information to the project file. Hopefully, the fines will continue
to settle, and the reading will consistently trend downwards.
Keep sending the turbidity updates in the meantime so I can document any changes.
Thanks so much for keeping us in the loop,
Hannah

Tom, Hannah, and Stephen,
Brandon was out on vacation so I did not receive a turbidity update until yesterday and then again
today. Please see the email from him below. Someone took readings while he was gone but did not
send them to me. Attached are the latest turbidity readings from the RPW next to borrow pit D3. It
seems like it went up again since March 1st even though they have not discharged into the RPW
since the initial discovery. Brandon told me some spots in the RPW are, or were, more turbid than
others and the sample on March 1st may have just come from a less turbid spot. Like we discussed
before, there is little to no water movement in these areas, so it may take a while for the turbidity to
settle out.
Thank you, and let me know if you have any questions.

See attached for latest turbidity readings from Hampstead Borrow Pit D3 adjacent RPW. Turbidity
has been dropping 20+- NTU per day for the last week or so.
Background readings were taken from surrounding RPWs and averaged 19.0 NTU.
Thanks
