This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in Collection System Permit No. WQCS00309. The findings and comments noted during this inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the inspection report entitled "Compliance Inspection Report". There were no significant issues or findings noted during the inspection and therefore, a response to this inspection report is not required. Documents and record keeping for the Southern Pines Collection System is incredibly orderly and well maintained. There are 19 pump stations in this system, and the following were inspected: S. Ridge Street, Spring + Valley, Bellmeade, Aiken, and Forest Creek. There are 19 pump stations in this system, and the following were inspected: S. Ridge Street, Spring +Valley, Bellmeade, Aiken, and Forest Creek. Grease education distributed with bills on a quarterly basis, in addition to being available on the web, "What Not to Flush." Grease traps are required at applicable locations. The cleaning requirements vary based on the type and size of the establishment but are to be cleaned every 30/60/90 day. The overall sewer map is readily available via GIS and can be accessed from any tablet. The map details all aspects of the system and is updated as new developments are added to the system. In the last year, 26.51 miles of line have been jetted, and over 18,700 feet of lines have been CCTV.
