Please find attached a copy of the toxicity test results for samples obtained from the Yadkin Valley
Sewer Authority's wastewater treatment plant effluent. Aliquots from YSVA's effluent composite
sampler were collected on February 7 and 9, 2023 by Mike Mickey of this office for use in a chronic
Ceriodaphnia dubia pass/fail toxicity test performed by Meritech, Inc. on behalf of the Division's
Aquatic Toxicology Branch. The YSVA WWTP effluent passed this test at the permitted effluent
concentration of 0.87%.
