This General Permit covers STORMWATER AND/OR WASTEWATER DISCHARGES associated with activities under
SIC (Standard Industrial Classification) Code 14 [Mineral Mining Industry] except for: peat mining, coal mining,
metal mining, oil and gas extraction, tourist gem mines, NCDOT borrow pits, in -stream sand mining, and
discharges from mining operations which are intermixed on site with Stormwater from concrete operations. You
can find information on the DEMLR Stormwater Program at deq.rc.gov/SW.
