Mr. Snider,
This letter is in responsqWthle Notice of Violation, Tracking # NOV-2019-DV-0271, concerning the spill
at E Guilford County, High Point, NC.
The spill at the above -mentioned address lasted for 1 hour and 28 minutes. During that time crews
worked to unstop the sewer main using a sewer cleaning truck. It was determined that the blockage
.consisted of grease and roots. Once the spill was contained all solids were removed and lime was
spread over the area. The creek was flushed with clean water and monitored for adverse effects.
According to our records this was the first time having this issue, at this location. This line was last
cleaned April 25,2016 and was not on a Preventative Maintenance Cleaning schedule. A cleaning
schedule will be implemented to prevent future spills. This line will be added to our root control
program.
