Amy – I’m not sure if our paths will cross today. I discussed the basics of the Monroe Bypass with Kevin. He is tentatively
interested, but needs to check if it’s ok for him to be involved as an EMC member, as well as checking for involvement with his
company. In the meantime, I told him we’d send him some documents so he can make an informed decision. I’ll start with a
few emails, including SELC’s recent hearing request. I used to have a large stash of MB-related emails, many of which included
the media frenzy, but that appears to have been eaten by Mimosa. Please provide Kevin with a scope and schedule update,
along with other materials he will find informative. For example: Is this round going to include the Connector along with the
Bypass? Is Garden Parkway linked in any way, or is DOT waiting to see what happens with Monroe? Application schedule? (I
guestimated that the hearing would be in January sometime.) Report from previous hearing? I know you have lots of other
stuff. Thanks.
