On behalf of our client, Merritt Construction Services, LLC, Kimley-Horn is submitting this buffer authorization
modification request for the above referenced project. Merritt Construction Services, LLC proposes to construct
an industrial development within close proximity to the Raleigh -Durham International Airport, Research Triangle
Park, and Interstate 40 in Wake County, NC.
A Neuse River Riparian Buffer Authorization Approval Letter (DWR # 20220875) for the proposed project was
issued by Ms. Colleen Cohn of the NCDWR on August 16, 2022. The project site plans have been modified
since the issuance of the Buffer Authorization. Plans were modified at all three Impact Site locations due to a
design revision that proposes grading the fillslopes to tie out to existing grade as opposed to the original
retaining wall design.

Kristi Carpenter to resubmit incase it didn't go through due to portal errors and maintenance.
