NCDOT will hold a public hearing on the application for the water quality permit for the Monroe Bypass on January 6 at the
Union County AG center starting at 6:00 PM. Comments are limited to 3 minutes but written comments can also be submitted
by email to Amy.Chapman @ncdcnr.gov. No news yet as to whether Boggs will be hosting another free Barbecue to get
comments from supporters but it's no coincidence that the hearing is scheduled on the east side to discourage those on the west
end who will experience the most significant impact from speaking. .
