Impact Justification and Mitigation 1. Avoidance and Minimization la. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts in designing the project. Will follow specifications set by NCDENR, DEQ,Fish and Wildlife. Construction activities will be isolated the boundries of the proposed boat ramp. No impacts will occur to wetlands the immediate adjacent area of the boat ramp. Best management practices to protect adjacent natural resources will be implemented such as sit fencing adjacent to boat ramp construction. Boat ramp will be constructed entirely on land and maneuvered into the proposed footprint thus eliminating any impacts outside the project site. lb. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts through construction techniques. Will follow specifications set by NCDENR, DEQ,Fish and Wildlife. Boat ramp will be constructed in a frame entirely on land in front of the proposed site. Concrete and rebar will be set and poured in the frame. Once the concrete has had time to cure the ramp will be maneuvered into the water without impacts to adjacent wetland buffers. There will be no impacts outside the immediate proposed boat ramp site.
