It was noted that the Kynwood facility had ammonia limits while the larger Abington facility located further upstream only had BOD and TSS limits. Since the Abington permit will be up for renewal soon, should WSRO request that a new wasteload be performed, or should we simply request that ammonia limits be incorporated into their next permit in order to be consistent? In addition, please note that the drainage area shown on the Kynwood wasteload (#6331) is incorrect. The drainage area is estimated at 6.6 mi2. I have also included a topo map showing the location of the beaver dam/wetland complex (in green) into which the Abington facility discharges. Please give me a call with your recommendation.
