BOx.682 Denver, North Carolina 28037 SUBJECT: Permit No. NCO060593 Authorization to Construct Seaward Properties Spinnaker Bay.Condominiums Development Catawba County Dear Mr. Seaford: A letter of request for Authorization to Construct was received January 10, 1985, by the Division and final plans and specifications for the subject project have been reviewed and found to be satisfactory. Authorization is hereby granted for the construction of a 12,500 GPD wastewater treatment facility consisting of an influent pump station with dual 37 GPM grinder pumps, a pump alternator, a screened vent, a lockable cover, and an on -off -high water alarm system; dual 6,250 gallon aeration tanks in parallel, two (2) parallel 1,000 gallon clarifiers, a tablet chlorinator, a flow measuring device, a 260 gallon chlorine contact tank, a 1,200 G.aerated sludge holding tank; a discharge line -that discharges the wastewater underwater on the lake botton at least 100 feet (horizontal) -into the lake at low water level, and emergency power or pumping system with a telemetry system, piping, fittings, valves, and appurtenances to serve the Spinnaker Bay Condominiums located off slanting Bridge Road (SR1844) at Mountain Creek. This Authorization to Construct is issued in accordance with Part III paragraph C of NPDES Permit No. NCO060593 issued February 1, 1985, and shall be subject to revocation unless the wastewater treatment facilities are constructed in accordance with the conditions and limitations specified in Permit No. NC0060593. The Permittee must employ a certified wastewater operator in accordance with Part III paragraph D of the referenced permit. The sludge generated from these treatment facilities must be disposed of in accordance with General Statutes 143-215.1 and in a manner approvable by the North Carolina Division of Environmental Management. The Mooresville Regional Office, telephone number 704/663-1699 shall be notified at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance of operating this facility so that an in -place inspection can be made of said system. Such notification to the Regional Supervisor shall be made during the normal office hours from 8:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. on Monday through Friday, excluding State Holidays. Contd . P.O.
