The 2014 annual permit fee has not been paid. The invoice was dated 11/06/14 with a due date of 12/06/14. The invoice amount is$860.00 and covers the administrative costs associated with the NPDES permit. The fee is required by regulation and set by statute. On 01/23/15, I called Mr.Jeff Smoker, billing contact for Wilkes County Adult Care (WCAC) facility,concerning the overdue annual permit fee, left a voice mail message and transmitted to Mr. Smoker,via email, a copy of the invoice. During the afternoon of 01/23/15, Mr. Smoker returned my call and indicated he would request a check be cut and mailed to DENR as soon as possible. On 02/19/15, I emailed Mr.Smoker and indicated our office had not received payment. My email requested Mr.Smoker determine payment status and return my call. Ms. Morton indicated her company is no longer handling accounts payable for WCAC and I was provided corporate contact information for Raintree Healthcare,the parent company for WCAC. I called Ms. Karen Love,Corporate Administrator,and left a voice mail message to return my call. On 03/11/15, I contacted and spoke with Ms. Katrina Camp, Corporate Office, and emailed my conversations with Mr.Smoker and a copy of the overdue annual permit fee. In my email, I indicated, "If I have not heard from anyone by 4:00 pm today, (03/11/15),this invoice and associated information will be sent to collections." On 3/11/15, I received an email from Ms. Love concerning the property/facility in question. I responded via email and also attached a copy of the overdue annual permit invoice. No follow-up phone calls were received from WCAC. DWR requests your assistance to initiate fee recovery efforts as soon as possible. Below please find facility/contact information.
