Describe proposed work (include discussion as to how hardening of shoreline has been avoided, or why it is necessary): The project will consist of removal of a dilapidated dock, decking, and lattice wall screen; stabilization of 72' of shoreline that is currently rock and hard, barren soil with little to no vegetation. Stabilize with natural rock at shoreline and with native plant species above shoreline, up steep hill, elevation approx. 9'. Build a new dock in accordance with current federal, state, and local requirements. Pictures attached showing current shoreline w/ wood decking and visual barrier to be removed and current condition of shoreline (views: straight on, left, and right). Please describe the vegetation above the normal pool lake level/ normal water level and 50 feet landward to be impacted: * (number of trees, for instance) Very little vegetation; rock and hard soil under wood decking. Natural grasses and 3 oak trees above decking, past high water mark; one tree to be removed. Another oak tree above high water mark, to right of stairs, heavily leaning toward river / downhill with partial root exposure from hill to be removed. Native grasses to be replanted.
