SUBJECT: US 158 from N of US 421/I-40 to US 220, R-2577ABC, Forsyth and Guilford Counties,
ER 04-1615
We are in receipt of your January 27, 2023, email transmitting the individual permit application for the
above -referenced undertaking to the US Army Corps of Engineers for its review. In reviewing the several
attachments, we noted that the Environmental Commitments listed on pages 93-94 did not include the
commitments made to avoid adversely affecting the Edgewood Baptist Church and the Bel Air Drive -In
Theatre that are located in Section A of the project. Please provide an updated set of Green Sheet/Project
Commitments that properly describe the commitments agreed upon to reach a finding of "no adverse
effect" with the State Historic Preservation Office pursuant to Section 106.
The above comments are made pursuant to Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and the
Advisory Council on Historic Preservation's Regulations for Compliance with Section 106 codified at 36
CFR Part 800.
