HomeMy WebLinkAboutB-5717 Bank StabilizationEric and Ryan, Per our earlier phone conversations, I have attached the drawing showing the proposed bank stabilization on project B-5717(Gate City Blvd, Guilford County). The proposed riprap stabilization is considered necessary in order to prevent slope failure during and after construction of the project. NCDOT is requesting to utilize the non-reporting Nationwide 13 for installation of the bank stabilization. There will be approximately 150 total linear feet of bank stabilization. The project will not exceed an average of one cubic yard per running foot placed along the bank below ordinary high water and will involve no discharge into any special aquatic site. NCDOT will adhere to all conditions of the Nationwide 13 and utilize Best Management Practices throughout the entire construction phase of the project. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Thanks.
