Conit had a turbid release into an RPW from the outlet of their sediment basin out by the D-pits. One of us will get out there to look at this issue and report back with more details. This occurred due to the dewatering of the adjacent pit. We are dealing with similar material as were found in G-Pit, which remain in suspension for a really long time due to fineness of the sediment particles. Currently, the riser has been plugged and additional water is not entering the RWP. Conti is looking into alternative methods to attempt to settle out the particles. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
