Hi Derek,

I have completed an initial review of the 401 application for the subject project and require additional information to
complete the review. Please provide a response to the below items within 30 days. Please note that the application will
be considered “on hold” until a complete response is received.

1. The aerial and topo maps indicate that there may be a stream feature at the location circled below. Was a
stream form completed for this feature and/or do you have any photos of this feature that you can provide?

2. The project includes a ford crossing of the stream. The proposed location appears to show one end of the
crossing ending at the toe of the mapped wetland #1 as well as near the feature mentioned in item #1. Is the
location of this ford crossing pertinent, and if so, please provide reasoning and what will be done to mitigate
risks to the wetland and possible feature.
3. Please provide a response to the WRC Comment #3 stating how the project plans to minimize removal of native
vegetation: “3. It appears that an intact riparian buffer exists on the right bank, and disturbance and removal of
native vegetation should be minimized as much as possible.”
